My wife Sheryl and I almost broke our necks getting to this site. It's 3/4 mile from trailhead to the top - not far at all - but it's a 1,000 ft gain in elevation up loose rocks made wet from the waterfall above the caves. Coming back down, it's a wonder I ended up with only a sprained wrist after such a steep decent.
