Riverwalk, San Antonio, TX (February 11, 2016, 1:49 pm)
I loved the possibilities that existed in my original shot of the San Antonio Riverwalk. Being there early in the season, the Cypress trees that overhang the river had not yet leafed out.
So, I decided to apply a Photoshop Oil Paint filter to the scene. This is one example of this technique that I strongly feel does the scene justice. The color palette of all of the shapes harmonizes nicely and the uninteresting shapes in the original photo become far more interesting in the painting version of this scene.
