There are two major advantages I've learned about photographing in a conservatory - no wind and near perfect plant specimens.

I do enjoy "taking what I get" when out in nature, but plants usually take a beating when exposed to the elements, birds and other animals and other plants. The photographs from this series required very little touch up in terms of plant imperfections. Coupled with not having to wrestle the typical breezes that blow leaves into non-focus, a conservatory provides a photographer's dream in terms of environment. OK, it does get quite hot in these all-glass greenhouses, but it's worth the sweat.
