Scenes like this at the Anderson Japanese Gardens are so fitting. I love this very simple composition - a duck feather with two droplets of water floating near the water's edge, above a stone-bottomed pond.

In black and white, the elements are reduced to the essential yet the full range of tones are present in the image. This image calms me and makes me smile.
