Originally built in 1855 by Aslag Anderson and now on the National Register of Historic Places, the Anderson Boat Dock is covered by graffiti on the shore of Ephraim on
Wisconsin's Door County peninsula.
Most of the artwork are brightly colored names and dates, some dating back many, many years. This one in particular is of a bluebird in flight. In Silver Exef Pro, I darkened the blue channel to render the detail more graphically than it appears in normal shades of gray.
I see graffiti more as artwork than a nuisance, especially when the graffiti has some historic value or commemorates an important event. Photographing here is fun as there are countless compositions possible. Click
