Horses, Hanksville, UT (September 12, 2016, 5:10 pm)

Heading out of Hanksville toward Capitol Reef, we saw a car stopped in the road (the road doesn't get much traffic) and a woman along the side photographing a group of 8 or so horses. The horses seemed to be fascinated with her and she was in her glory snapping away. We joined in the fun and made a new friend along the way with Amy.

We spent a good half hour photographing the pack of horses who seemed to take turns coming down to the fence, running back up the short hill and interacting with each other. Amy claimed that this was a highlight at the end of her trip and that it was a nice change of pace from shooting rocks and canyons.

We couldn't have agreed more.
